Here are the cards I made for Card Club.

Sympathy Card: Kept this simple, it is straight in real life!!!! I haven't added a sentiment so that it can be used for anything!

Scrapping

Last night I had a blast!!! My friend Kris came round to scrap with me!!!! (Kathy if your reading this!!! - I can play well with others LOL). We had a whale of a time! apart from me falling off my chair!!! (which had Kris in stitches) and Kris sticking her project on the wrong way, we did mangae to get a lot done.

I managed to do the 12 sympathy cards!!!! that I needed to do for card club (now whoever chose the idea of doing sympathy cards!!! for cards club! I wasn't there to vote on this but if I had been I would not of been in favour of making them, its not a card I like to make, but if I ever do need one then they are a one off and I am not sure if I would ever send someone a card made by someone else when it comes to a sympathy card!!!!) I have made mine so that they can be used for something else and they will be able to remove the With sympathy part and just change it for something else. I will post a picture soon. I also got started on some Get Well cards and will finish them later today.

I finished a layout for one of my design team assignements and just need to get a photo printed.

So I had a really good time.

We must get together more often as its so much more fun scrapping with another person.

Door Hanger

My husband asked me to make him a door hanger to go on his office door, just like I did for the boys, so this is what he ended up with!!!!!

Sorry about all the nature photographs!!!! Yeah more butterflies.

Look at it this way, I see all this nature through the eyes of a child!!!! Its all pretty alien to me. Having grown up in Germany and then England I haven't really seen these types of butterflies and certainly never had deer in my back garden. I didn't even know that the large looking guinea pigs that were at the bottom of our slope were ground hog until we saw some and I went and looked it up on the internet!!!! So its pretty amazing to me and I am amazed by all the nature around me, apart from the snakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Baby deer

How cute is this, only managed to get the one photo because as i went inside to get my camera she started to walk away!!!

 

I made some door hangers for the boys rooms, I found this paper at my LSS and thought it would be perfect, not only that I only used 2 sheets to make both hangers, very easy to make, drew around them cut it out and glued it with mod podge, then sanded round the edges to neaten it off and slightly to distress the hanger. Then added a skull and crossbones, cut from the paper dolls cart with my cricut.

Profiterolle

I was in need of a sweet tooth fix today so decided to have a go at making Profiterole's as they were the closest thing to chocolate eclairs that I had in my recipe book, good old Delia smith.

Anyway the first attempt was a bit of a disaster and they ended up in the bin (garbage/trash yep I am picking up the lingo LOL). Well the second attempt was fantastic and I wish I had made more. Instead of stuffing them with whipped up cream I happened to have some cool whip so used that instead. I didn't have any chocolate in the house to make the sauce with so I poured Hershey's chocolate sauce over them. Well, everyone absolutely loved them and the certainly fixed my craving for something sweet. Now to improve on the recipe I need to find some decent chocolate to make a nice sauce to go over the top and next time I might pipe them so I can have chocolate eclairs! PERFECT Kathy if your reading this is your mouth watering!!!!!

I managed to do some scrapping last night, again using my cricut expression, I just love that machine so much better than the small cricut. So if you dilly dallying about getting the expression I would definitely go for it you won't regret it.

Having a fun day doing lots of scrapping. Still trying to get my Disney Album finished from 2007 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SNAKE

Last night I was doing some gardening!!!Whilst laying some mulch I moved a pile of old mulch and this appeared!!! I nearly fell over trying to move away being on a slope it was not funny. I was brave enough to take a few pics of it!!!! all I can say thank god for zoom lenses!!!!! Needless to say I will not be doing any more gardening this year!!!!!! certainly not on the slope!!! If any of you know what type of snake this is please let me know.

More things to share, It is American Scrapbook Cos 7th birthday in August so for our design team assignments we had to come up with something to use for a birthday. I have made a little take out birthday box and this time made something a little different!!! A birthday wreath to hang on the door of the shop!!! I got the idea on how to make thewreath from a post that I saw on a blog that I read for a christmas wreath. I can't seem to find the blog at the moment but when I do I will add a link.

Sneak peaks

As promised here are some sneak peaks of some of the projects I have been working on, again I played with my cricut expression! using the same design as the friends layout I did. I have done a boy and girl layout of the same design only altering it slightly to incorporate some stickers that I had to use as one of the requirements for the design team assignement.

Hi Everyone

Sorry for not blogging sooner but I am a little busy at the moment doing design team work. Not long now and I should be able to share some projects I have been busy with.

The weather here is fabulous as the moment.

We spent the day at Wisconsin Dells on Monday and it was great fun! even if I nearly got drowned by their new wave machine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)
