So here is the reveal of what I have been up to.
Like most people, our master bath has the typical builder grade cabinets. I have been wanting to change these for a very long time, but I really have not had the energy to do it. What with
Emigrating half way across the world to the US and becoming a student, it does tend to take it out of you and so I haven't really done much to the house since living here. Well my days of being a student are over, I finished my degree in May and since then I can put my energy into redecorating.
A little bit of priming going on.

Lookin' good my friend. :)
ReplyDeleteI bet the room looks a whole lot brighter and bigger. I love what a little paint and knobs do. Great job.
Thanks for your sweet comment! See you again soon I hope. :)
I just repainted my own builder grade bathroom cabinets and have some more to do. I love the color you chose, great color inspiration! Did you sand before priming or just start in on the priming?
ReplyDeleteHeather,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment, I gave everything a very light sand before priming, and I mean light, I basically just took minutes on each drawer and door and on the frame I quickly roughed things up, the priming made everything stick like glue, I then put on 2 coats of primer, 2 coats of paint and then 2 coats of poly.
If you need any more advice, please don't hesitate to ask.
It looks great! This is a project I'm going to tackle this fall and it's nice to see it can turn out so well.
ReplyDeleteSo much better, it does look great - you did a good job!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog & leaving a comment....I like your mini makeover, I'm about to do our master bathroom too......by the way, I'm following you now...would love if you would return the favor :)
