Graduation Quilt–Think Positive

My son graduates this month! so I decided it was time to make him a quilt of his own!
I was originally inspired by the quilts I had seen in blog land made by Carla (who blogs at Coras Quilts) for her teenaged sons.  As it happened I already had the same fabric line in mind!  But wanted to make mine slightly different.  Instead of cutting ALL squares I cut a mixture of rectangles and squares.

  4. This is wonderful for a guy! Very calming colors and it evokes a modern setting such as an office building or architecture.

  5. This quilt is just gorgeous - I love how masculine the colourway makes it. I made quilts last year for my 2 sons when they graduated university and they were such a hit with both of them, I'm sure yours will be too! I'm much newer to living in the US than you are - just coming up to 2 years now - but I really enjoyed reading the word 'cushion' ;)
