WIP– A good week 3 projects completed

I have had another productive week this week

Today was the last day for sending off my package for the Modern Scrappy Bits Swap. As well as scraps participants are asked to send a handmade item.  I decided to make my partner a pouch, I love pouches, who doesn’t? I think you can’t go wrong with a pouch.  So here it is.

pouch1The grey fabric is Kona in Charcoal, but looks blue in the above photo, its more like the photo below only a little bit darker! I was in a rush to get this in the mail so didn’t have time to take decent photos!pouch3

I made a little father Christmas tag with the fabric left over from my Christmas table runner, and in the orange tissue paper are some fabric scraps, including some Kate Spain, Moda and a few other nice pieces. I also included a little sewing holder which is the thing under the tag. I hope my partner likes this little package.

  1. I'm glad I'm not the only one out taking photos at odd times of the day. I always hope that no one is looking.

This past summer, I had to hang a quilt top from the eaves of the garage and take a step chair (I can't think of the proper name right now) out to get a mildly decent photo.... and the neighbors did become curious and start quizzing me....

  2. Love that star banner--and love the story about how you got the photo! I hope your partner is thrilled with her swap gift because it's charming.

Thanks for stopping by Freshly Pieced today and posting your WIP link.
